What would you do????

This happened to my son's girlfriend. She lost her cell phone and the guy that found it said that the only way that he would give it back is she has to give him $100.00 dollars. So my son paid him the money to get it back for her but what would you do in this situation?

  • Depends on the value of the phone -- But she could report it stolen if he is blackmailing her with it.

  • I would have given a reward. But with the demanding, I think that is wrong. You could probably report it to the police and have them go to pick it up. But it is over now.

  • I would have called the cops. I would not pay $100.00 bucks to get my own phone back.

  • I would accept the trade for phone, get a name and place and then alert the police of what the person is doing.
