  • I honeslty don't know. He is 14 now, so that was a long time ago. I actually have a child that didn't need very much discipline. It is still vary rare that he needs to be disciplined.

  • All three of mine were exceptionally good kids, and did not required time outs, when they got older I did punish by grounding and such, but that didn't happen much either. They were never reprimanded at school, they loved to be praised but not punished.

  • we started with a light pat on the back of the hand when he started walking about 1ish, we did that because he already knew what "no" was...after 3 chances he got it. it distracted his attention and we could tell him "dont touch, its 'hot'" 'hot' was what we used for things he shouldnt touch. now that he is 3, its a warning and a spanking or the corner depending on what he did. And he gets the corner until he is able to calm down so we can talk to him without yelling to be heard over his cries.

  • Around 9 months my son (who was bigger for his age) discovered the electrical outlets, he got a very light tap on the bottom with a stern "no". He never touched it again.
