2 Bumps

What could cause a 2 yr old to be sick ALL the time with no obvious reason?? READ!!!

My dd has been sick since october. It will be almost 6 months!!

If it isnt one thing, its another, throwing up, upper respiratory infection ear infection, diarrhea, cold, cough, cold, cold, throwing up, cough cold, fever, etc etc etc....

Shes had a cold the ENTIRE time...Im having issues with my insurance so i cant take her in right now. Does anyone have ANY ideas? i plan on getting really good vitamins for her, and probiotics to help out a bit.

Im worried something may be wrong with her immune system, or a deficiency or something??

  • Does she get enough rest? A child who doesn't sleep enough is more susceptible to sickness.

  • That is what i plan on doing, but im having issues with my insurance that im sorting out. When she does throw up or something it never lasts long enough to urge me to take her to the dr or anything... but its been so much lately...

just about 4 days ago she threw up twice in one day for no apparent reason.

  • Yes she sleeps about 10 hours a night and has a 1 1/2 hr nap, she eats very well veggies fruits all the good stuff, she plays and gets energy out, there is nothing that i can put my finger on that would cause this. her sleeping habits are great, eating as well, bathing as well.... we wash her hands often... i dont understand it.

  • i smoke, but only while im at work and by the time i get home its not on me or anything....

her glands seem to be normal from what i can tell, she doesnt seem to have gotten better at all, shes had a cold since about sept thats what has lasted the longest, and her cough...

she seems to always have a temp of about 100 degrees which before sept was a normal 98 degree temp so that is off as well.
