  • Corgi. They are easier to house break and train than a headstrong pomeranian. They don't bark much and when they do it's not as high pitched and yappy as a pom.

  • I don't care for small dogs (aside from Pugs), but Corgis are too cute! Pomeranians are so bloody annoying, lol.

  • pomeranians are very strong willed and yappy. if your looking for a nice quiter dog get the corgi. what about an dante dumont (sp)or lowchen? they're super cute.

  • A pomeranian yaps all the time. i'd go with the welsh corgie even though they look like shrunken, squashed, inbred Lasie Dogs!! I bet they're sweet good doggies. Looks don't matter right?? lol

  • I would pick a Corgi over a Pom any time! Poms are small yappy dogs. Corgies are sweet dogs.

  • I am very partial to the Welsh Corgie as well. I think they are adorable. They are quite loyal to one family member in most cases, can have a strong herding personality and smart as a whip.

The Poms can be a little touch and go because they can overdo the protection and sometimes are very anxious. Both dogs require socialization, but poms require more work with the strangers and handling in my opinion. Both breeds can be quite vocal too.

  • I'd say the Pom. Corgi's make me laugh with those stumpy little legs.
