Does anyone beleive the "pulling out" method will actually prevent pregnancy?

  • Well it worked for me in high school (with my now husband) and we had just gotten pregnant using a condom and not pulling out.

  • It won't prevent it but I guess the less sperm in there the less chance you'll get pregnant! I'm not sure if that logic works, but I think it does. So less chance of getting pregnant... maybe... I'm not sure. I'd never use it!

  • DH and I have been together for over 15 years and have used withdrawal in conjunction with charting my cycles. We've had exactly 2 pregnancies in that time, and 2 beautiful daughters, and both times there was no withdrawal. So, for some, it does work if you're very careful, but I don't recommend it for most people.
