  • read the car seat manual, the baby must be i think its 22-25 pounds to be in a front facing, and i think its actually against the law for them to face front before they're 1. and also an infant seat always has to be rear facing, u cant just decide to face it front, u gotta buy a front facing seat

  • Children develop very quickly so while there is no difference between 29 and 30 for us, there is a huge difference between 10 and 12 months for a baby. They have much stronger core muscles and neck muscles on average at the year mark versus the 10 month mark that it is required in most states that you wait until one year. In most places, it is illegal to have them forward facing too young. I would wait it out. It is only two months but there is a lot more safety that comes along with the rear facing as opposed to the forward facing.

  • My son needed the front facing car seat around 8 months because his legs were so long and he didn't fit the baby carrier anymore. As long as your little one is big enough to be snuggly buckled into it, she'll be fine.

  • No. It is unsafe and illegal. Wait until she is at LEAST 12 mos AND 20 lbs. And check your seat. Some don't allow FF until 22 lbs. I suggest for her to RF longer then that, but DEFINATAELY not before. Long legs are not a danger. Just have them sit "criss cross applesauce".
