  • I have in the past. These days, I wouldn't. I have taken pay cuts instead.

  • No. I won't ever have that worry in the near future, because we live in a rapidly growing area with a decent economy. But my son with autism currently gets services through the CAP program, meaning he has a one on one that works with him on specific goals for 20 hrs/week during school and 40 hrs/week in the summers. It also qualifies him for non income based Medicaid which helps with the cost of his multiple therapies. The program is not income based and there is some variation available in most states, but here there is currently a 4 plus year waiting list and I've heard it's a similar wait in other areas.

  • We've moved 3 times for DH's work, and I'd consider it again. My job is flexible since I can work remotely.

  • I'd have to weigh all the pros and cons first before doing so.

  • We have done so. It wasn't ideal, so we took it and my husband continued looking for something in a better location.

  • If I had a job, I would relocate. I'd never relocate in hopes of finding a job.
