Did anyone else almost cry during the beginning of the "Up" movie?

I know that's sort of an old movie now... They did a good job of making me love that grumpy old man.

**that's my last question for the day. time for me to do some mommy stuff.. :D

  • What do you mean almost? I blubbered like a baby! I am a sucker for a sad movie though.

  • oh yea! i have such a place in my heart for old people. even if they are nasty and bitter. not saying that the old man in "Up" was. he seemed more tolerable... and not just because of his story.

  • Omg yes... cute movie, but so sad... thought it was more for adults though, not children

  • I did but only because the old grumpy guy reminds me of my husband's grandfather.

  • Almost cry? I was a basket case. I only had one tissue. By the end of the beginning part I looked like I had been through a war!

  • I was crying full out.. actually, I'm tearing up just thinking about it... I have to skip the first part when my kids want to watch it.
