My niece is almost 14 months old and every time I am around it seems like she is eating a ton. Like the other morning for breakfast I made my 5 year old two blueberry pancakes and my sister told me to do the same for my niece. She gobbled those two pancakes down before my daughter could even get done. Then we went to eat one night and she ate a ton of goldfish, a container of green beans, they ordered her a vegatle beef soup which they cut the veggies up, a pickle and some roast beef off of my sisters plate and some ham off of my daughters. She is not fat by no means, but she is a VERY active child. But her fathers family is over weight and I am scared they are starting bad habits with her that will lead her to be obese. Should I say something or stay out of it?Answer Question

Is she eating a bunch of junk? My son has a high metabolism also, he needs to eat more. So the children who need to eat more because of having a high metabolism should be denied food? That doesn't make much sense to me.
