  • I'm in AZ & I think it took about two weeks? I recall being shocked it came so fast. you can call your county clerk for more info on their turn around. hth

  • In GA, it took 8 weeks. In LA, it took 6 months.

  • We live in OK and have done 2 adoptions via foster care - our 3rd in the works. The adoption we did via ICPC from Texas, that birth certificate back within 5-6 weeks - I was surprised at how quickly we got it back. Our adoption last year from Oklahoma (the state we actually live in) took about 3-4 months or so to get back.
