Mom clothes?

What are your favorite stores to buy "mom clothes"? I've had a hard time adjusting to more kid friendly outfits that I still think are cute. Any suggestions?

  • I had this problem also.  I found really great shirts and jeans at Old Navy.  It's hard to find something for young moms that doesn't look like "club wear" or "too old".

  • Thank you everyone! I am looking for more casual clothes, & more family appropriate, no club clothes for me. But thank you.

  • Depends on your personal style, are you talking comfort? I always liked LL Bean, Coldwater Creek ...

  • What exactly are "kid-friendly outfits"?

I dress the same way I did now as I did before kids entered the picture: A-line skirts, cardigans, sweaters, dresses, boots, and jewelry.......not a fan of the mom jeans and a t-shirt look.

  • P.S. I buy most of my clothes at Romy, Talbots, Nordstrom, American Eagle.
