Do you ever use a heating pad? If so, what for?

  • I used it last week to thaw out my frozen pipes. It did the trick but that's pretty much all I use it for.

  • i've got one on my ankle right now..i don't know if i twisted it or what but its just got a pain. i use those salonpas stick on pads. i love em

    I've even used it to keep my birds warm at nights, putting it over their cage on low setting on a timer.

  • I have sciatic nerve issues, and when I stand too long, it lets me know it's there! Heat and advil usually do the trick, but sometimes it's really painful, so a vicodin along with the heating pad does the job better.
