Cold and fever and pregnant?? what can I take to help with these symptoms that wont hur tthe baby

  • Lots of water, rest, and if you really need it, some ibuprofen.

  • Check with your doctor/ ObGyn but I think Dimetapp is ok. I remember I was given a list of OK things and things to stay away from.

  • not ibuprofen while pregnant....... tylenol is great for lowering the fever and it's safe during pregnancy. idk how high your fever is, but if it's low grade that's ok, if it's pretty high then tell your ob (and take tylenol to lower it). remember to drink and try to rest if you can. a vaporizer and saline spray will help with your cold symptoms.

  • everyones different. me i cant normally take anything anyways but i know you can take ibprofen until your third trimester as long as you dont have any problems with your pregancy then after that tylenol. as for everything else saline spray and and lots to drink and rest.
    ask your doc about any cold medicines.
