Miniature horse or pigmy goat?

I need a lawn mower and since I am alone and have asthma and osteoporis, I can't mow. I am thinking about getting a live mower that I can have as a pet too.

  • I'd have to go with a horse, goats just have an odd "goaty" smell :)

  • Actually, mini horses are ALOT harder to keep from escaping than you'd think. Also, there is a difference between a mini horse and a mini pony. I have LOTS of experience with horses, as I own them. Minuature horses are mean, little snots who are very devious. They are escape artists! I have had some actually crawl under electric fences and get out. They are way to smart for their own good. Miniature ponies on the other hand, happen to be a little more on the friendly side with less attitudes but any horse and or pony can be whatever it wants to be. They all have their very own personalites. Hygiene wise, horse is the best choice though (: This was a funny question, thanks for posting!

  • Minis are easier to keep with less fencing ... goats are pretty clever at getting out. If I got a mini anything, I'd go for a Dexter. It could be a bit of freezer beef if it came time ...

Be careful, those minis get obese easily.
