1 Bump

Is it obvious to you, or is it fairly easy to see the differences in the lives of the people who choose to receive to keep vs the people who choose to receive to give?

Basically, the pond vs stream theory. When the gift flows through the person the water remains fresh and is neverending.

  • Definitely. The people I know that are "givers" seem to have more; happiness, health, even prosperity. The pond people (LOL, that cracks me up) I know tend to be suspicious, and don't seem to be as happy as others. They also don't seem to have the level of success that the stream people experience.

  • Yes, Scuba said it perfectly. I'd just add that those who are "pond people" seem to be sick more and have more health issues, I know several of these types and it's not pretty. the ona a person chooses seems to affect all areas of life, IMO. I'd rather be a stream :)
