My cat sprayed me!!!! Should I be flattered or should I cut "them" off?

  • NO not true my mom's cat is fixed and he still sprays!!!! the vet told them that fixed cats will and can still spray sometimes after being fixed it's a territorial thing not a "sex" thing....

  • To quote the great Bob Barker- Even if he hadnt sprayed you- the responsible thing for any or all pet owners is to "have their pets spade or neutered." There are agencies that offer free or low cost services. Make the appt. :)

  • If a cat sprayed me the question would not be cut or not cut. We always try to have our animals spayed or neutered by the time they're a year. No unwanted babies..and it makes them calmer animals.

    LOL! YOu poor thing? My cat sprayed for the first time a few days ago and I about puked from the smell..I can't imagine being sprayed ON! OMG!
    Definitley get him snippity snipped!!! You'll regret it if you don't !

  • Keep a squirt bottle filled with water handy. If he sprays furniture, half water, half vinegar keeps them away. Test the fabric first. Unless you are breeding him, get him fixed.

  • get it fixed! I cannot tell you how much it drives me nuts when pet owners DONT get their animals neighbors have FOUR cats that ARENT fixed /sigh this just means more cat is in heat currently and the other three cats are males =(
