you can still get pregnant after having your tubes tied? My friend has had hers tied for almost 10 yrs and jsut found out she is preg. I am very surprised by this!!

  • I've heard of that happening before! I don't know how it happens though. I also have known someone to have a successful reversal of tubal ligation and go on to have more children.

  • did she have them burnt or tied... they only do burning now because ... it works better.

  • Yep. However it's more common in those that had it years ago as opposed to now. I've had mine tied for 2 years and when they did it they not only tied but they burned as well.
    HOWEVER! lol I've had one miscarriage since then. Darn Murphy sperm can get threw almost anything.

  • Doctor told her she had less than 1.85% chance of this occuring. Most end up tubal..hers is not tubal, she had ultra sound today.
