How do I check the credintials of a lawyer?

I would like to find out if he is worth hiring, reviews and comment from others who have used him things like that

  • The ABA is a voluntary bar. Nobody is required to be on it. Check out the bar association of the state in which the attorney is practicing. That will get you an idea of what kind of law they practice, whether any disciplinary action has been taken against them by the bar, and how long they have been licensed.
