Are you a grudge holder or are you a forgiver?

I'm one guilty grudge holder...but I'll forgive you once you've seen the err of your ways. Do you forgive even though they haven't apologized?

  • I forgive pretty easily. I don't believe that not allowing someone to further hurt you is being unforgiving or holding a grudge either. I believe that holding a grudge is not letting it go, as in continuing to allow it to hurt you in your life, or wishing hurt on the perpetrator.

  • I forgive but never forget. most of the time you're pretty much dead to me if you burn me.

  • Holding a grudge can be toxic to you, what I do is speak my mind let it all out and once I have done this is over and forgotten or at least forgiven, with or without an apology.

  • I do forgive people pretty easily. However I have learned not to forget or that forgiveness means you have to trust the person again. That has to be earned back.

  • I'm too busy holding onto my sanity. I don't have any hands left to hold onto a grudge too!

  • I forgive. Takes too much energy to hold a grudge.
