Making my own yogurt

Does anyone doe this, and if you do, is it worth it to buy everything you need to make it???

  • My kids love my yogurt. However, I did not have to buy the yogurt maker. DH just rifled through his mom's basement and hers became mine. You can often find the makers at garage/estate sales.

    In general it is nothing like most yogurts with all of the sweet. It it far more tart. I love doing it. I also like making basic cheeses as well.

  • I love homemade yogurt, but honestly the organic yogurt is equally as good. IMO, it's not worth the time.
