When you put your kids to bed do you always put their PJs on?

Or do you just let them wear the clothes they wore for the day? This is mostly for younger children.

Sometimes I will let them sleep in their clothes that they were wearing that day as long as they are still clean & comfy.

  • My kids are responsible for getting themselves ready for bed. They wear whatever they want. If they're clothes aren't dirty (like all they did was sit on the couch all day) I don't care if they sleep in them. they don't actually have a lot of pajamas. They mostly sleep in sweats and t-shirts. I do the same thing.
The baby...sometimes he wears pajamas, sometimes I change him into clean clothes (onesie and sweats) and sometimes he sleeps in whatever he has been wearing if it isn't covered in drool and will keep him warm all night.

  • Always pj's because it's part of their night time routine....dinner, then bath, then pjs, then a book and then bed. And they both love their pj's!

  • 99.9% of the time she gets pjs. On last Sunday night, she had a huge day and got home at 8pm exhausted. No bath, just off with the shoes and pants. She was saying BED BED BED. I have never heard her do that.

  • Usually pj's but sometimes my oldest (4) just wants to wear ''comfy cozies''...sweats or fleece pants & a t-shirt or tank. Hey, if she's willing to go to bed, I don't care what she's wearing! LOL.

  • I do too sometimes. Also if it's very hot outside, during the night i'll keep the thermostat hot enough that if we are naked we will be comfy, so during the summer they will sleep in diapers.
