If you were suspected another employee was stealing...

but were not totally sure..would you tell your boss that you have reason to "think" they may be?

or would you wait until you caught them red handed.

  • also....especially since you only 'suspect this' and are not 'sure of it'....let them get caught on their own

  • If your store has it, contact asset protections, if you suspect this person of stealing they're probably already watching her. OR, you can go to a supervisor and voice your suspicions privately.

  • If you're not totally sure then don't say anything. That would really suck if the person wasn't stealing and you said something and they got in trouble for no reason. but if you do catch them then i think it would be best to call loss prevention.

  • This guy brings a bookbag to work everyday. why would a man need to bring a bookbag? we are always missin bulk items at the end of the month. today i turned the corner and i noticed him putting a box in his bookbag but i couldnt make out exactly what it was. he acted suprised to see me standing there though. and kept coming back around the corner i think afraid that maybe i was gonna look in his bag.

  • I would definitely wait until he is caught! You don't want to go around accusing someone if you aren't totally sure he is stealing! He will get caught eventually.

  • Your employer has the right to search him if he suspects anything.Stealing so sad.If you cannot afford it it stays at the store.period.
