If your adult daughter is in a relationship with a man who beats her and they fell on hard times;

spiderand are about to lose their apartment, would you let them both stay in your home till they get back on their feet or just your daughter ?

  • Just your daughter. His behavior was unnacceptable, and just because you daughter takes it, it doesn't mean you have to accept it. I would be telling her that you do not approve of him because she deserves to be treated gently and respectfully. Give her some crisis numbers and an educationbal brochure. You don't want them to be bringing kids into the relationship, it will damage them.

  • Even I would tell her she can stay but as for him.....nope. I mean that is a news story waiting to happen. We see far too many times where the abuser snaps and kills everyone in the house. Your DD really needs to get out of that situation.
