What is the earliest anyone has found out the baby's sex?

  • Between 17 and 20 weeks is the earliest they can determine the sex of the baby.

  • External genitals start forming the 10th week. Visual confirmation by sonogram gets "easier" the further along they are. Some parents have known at 13 weeks with a fairly good idea, others have been told at 20 weeks and it was wrong.. hehe. Any kind of chromosome test will also tell the baby's gender (like if a amnio is done for downs syndrome)

  • For me they told me what I was having at 3mo. Very happy that I'm having another girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
