what does 3 Month Power Train Warranty mean??

  • That the power train (which I think is the engine?) is covered for 3 months. This sounds like a deal on a certified used car maybe?

  • It means only the power train is covered for 3 months. Meaning if anything in that system breaks down within 3 months of purchase, they'll fix it for free. But if anything else goes wrong, or if it's after 3 months, it's on your shoulders. Not the greatest deal IMO. We've always managed to get a 60month full or 1-year half warranty on the entire vehicle when we buy used (half warranty meaning the entire vehicle is covered, but if anything goes wrong they'll cover half, we'll cover half).
