  • here is what i have to go throught in illinois
i had to go to a meeting and go over all the paperwork and the process
anyone 18 yrs older that lives in the home has to have a finger print and background check
all members of the house hold have to have a physical
if of age members of the house to have a current tb test
you have give your case worker three names of people unrelated to you for references they have to fill out about you and the way you are with children
here the state fire marshall has to come and inspect your home in which you have to have fire drills smoke and carbon monxide decetors on every level of the home basically child proof the rooms in which the children will be in
all a bunch of other paperwork
if you are thinking about it to you may want to try and get in a food subsidy program that pays you so much per meal you feed the children i use Better Child Care
