Do you clip or file your nails?

and if one nail snags or breaks do you shorten the rest or just the broken one? I wait until a couple break to shorten the rest.

  • I keep my nails long so I file to shape.  When I break one, I file it and start again *sigh*.  If I break several in a short period of time, I file the others down to a shorter length until the broken ones catch up again.

  • I shorten them all.

  • I file them down. They are so much stronger without fake tips or uv gel. But that is in my case. A lot of women love getting them done that way. I tried for at least ten years and always broke them off or bit on them. Funny thing is I never bite my nails now....

  • I'm debating this exact thing right now. One broke down far and I hate cutting the longs ones off but guess I will since my hand looks dumb right now! I will cut them then file them smooth.

  • If one breaks I cute the rest. It looks kind of stupid and it is so obvious with one short nail and the rest are long

  • I have acrylic on my nails and they file them and shorten them when they need too and if one breaks i get a new one put on.
