Is it ok that my baby hasnt started crawling and hes almost 7 months?

  • yes my son didnt start crawling till he was 9 months and he is a smart kid

  • Sure, not all kids will develop the same way. My oldest never crawled, but at 8 months he walked.

  • My peditrician told us that crawling isn't considered a milestone because so many babies don't do it :)

  • Yeah don't worry about it. My daughters didn't crawl but eventually they did start hoisting themselves to a standing position using a coffee table and practiced walking around. I also put my girls in a walker to get them to move around and develp muscle in their legs.

  • He's fine. My daughter didn't crawl until about 7 months. My niece didn't crawl until closer to 9 months. She crawled for about a week and then started walking.

  • Crawling is not a developmental milestone, and many babies never crawl
