  • You can download a lot of templates for resumes on the Microsoft Word website.

  • The best way to do a resume is in Microsoft Word. At sites like Monster, they cram all of your info into a template that you'll have problems making corrections to if you're not computer friendly. In Word, all you really need to do is center your personal info at the top, (name, addy, phone #' and a usable e-mail) it's good to bold it too. Then left align all of your job info, using tabs to align your work history and education. And you can go to sites like Monster to view random resumes, see what style you like, and create your own is MS Word. Select borders to pretty it up, use custom bullets when listing "duties included" to personalize it a little bit. Be creative! And printing it on colored paper adds to creativity, as well as making you stand out from the rest. Stay calm with the color though, pale pink, egg shell white, powder blue, are all good ones that aren't too shocking... Good Luck ;-)!
