Vote downs?

Silly question but i find myself a little frustrated when I see answers voted down maybe pregnancy hormones but I just find it very rude. Who is anyone to vote something down just because the answer does not suite them. Kinda feels like junior high the judgement on that. Anyone else agree?

  • I don't see the point in voting others down.  It's still their opinion, and it counts.  It might not be the most popular answer but I agree, this isn't high school.

  • I thought vote downs were the opposite of the "like" button? I don't see why disagreeing with what someone wrote is wrong, especially if it is a snarky answer. I tend to vote those down.

  • I think that unless the answer has dangerous or very inaccurate advice, or the answer is very rude, vote downs shouldn't be used. JMO
