  • I haven't...but I would suggest checking your state's laws about surrogate. Then contact a local RE office and ask to come in and talk with them about it.

  • The birth mother group here had two surrogates who came to the group for support. They both grieved and experience similar pain to that of natural/birth moms. I think for many moms carrying a child creates a bond and giving that child to someone else to raise causes immense pain and sadness. I think surrogacy is an extremely bad idea.

  • I've done it. It was definitely a learning experience. Mine didn't go as planned and it ended up as an adoption instead. PM me if you'd like details. :) Good luck.

  • I thought about it, and started the process (research) but hubby started getting baby fever...

  • I personally disagree with the practice. There are soo many adoptable babies in the world, it seems selfish to make one fresh to order. Probably not what you wanted to hear, but I couldn't help throwing that out there.

  • I think there too many children out there that need a good home.

  • I was a surrogate, I gave birth to triplets June 14, 2010. It was a great experience, hard at times because I carried multiples but overall a great experience. The surrogate pregnancy didn't feel the same as my own, so that attachment wasn't there for me. I guess I just knew they weren't mine :) I would love to give you more info if you would like!
