True or False: Your deoderant can stop working during pregnancy.

I say true as I sit here and offend myself knowing full well I DID apply my deoderant liberally, as usual, this morning.

  • Your hormones are ever-changing during pregnancy. So, yes, it is entirely possible.

  • Oh the joys! Hormones can make just about anything happen and you're certainly not alone on this one!

  • No idea, but I can vouch that I am stinky this pregnancy. I apply in the morning and can smell myself when noon rolls around, then apply again and it seems to have worn off by the evening. It's only this pregnancy too, didn't happen the last 2 pregnancies.

  • That's true. It can even stop working for you when you aren't pregnant. I change brands every so often for a reason.

  • I can tell you that during my third pregnancy, if I wore deoderant of any kind, I smelled horrible!! If I wore none, I had no odor!!!! It was the strangest thing...after the baby was born, I was back to "normal"! Very strange!

  • I'm sure you will all sleep easier tonight knowing that I purchased a 4-pack of degree deoderant tonight at Sam's. Three of one kind and the 4th is a different kind. Between the 2 new different kinds, I SHOULD be ok. lol
