  • of course! Many households have both. I have 4 of each (yes.. you read that correctly! ) and they all get along wonderfully.

  • Yes, I've had both cats and dogs and they were fine with each other. Although some breeds are better than others.

  • When I got my Siamese cat Phoebe as a kitten my collie dog took to her right away. She adopted her. Now the damn cat thinks she's a dog. Sometimes I'll see Maggie walking around the yard with Phoebe sprawled out on her back, sleeping. I have redbone hound puppy now and she keeps trying to run Phoebe up a tree. I keep telling her that the cat is not a raccoon.

  • Most definantly. Mine have always gotten along. My 3 youngest cats were found when they were 2 weeks old and bottle raised. They have been around my dogs since they were healthy enough to be around the other animals and consider the dogs their jungle gyms.

  • I have 3 dogs and a cat they get along well. My cat will occasionally swat our puppy but only because he gets too rough when they play together.
