Is it bad.........

That I took an aspirin the other night for my headache? I felt like my head was going to pop open!!! It was terrible! It was generic and it wasn't extra strength either. I'm 31wks. Do you think it could have hurt the baby?

  • Do yourself a favour and see if you can find a list (either on the internet or from your doc) of medications that are safe to take during pregnancy. Some are safe during certain trimesters only and others aren't safe at all. This will give you greater peace of mind and you won't be putting your wee one at any risk. :)

  • Not sur if it could hurt the baby or not, but labels clearly say to not take asprin in the last trimester, that it can cause problems. You could have taken Tylenol and would have been safe.

  • I'm sure she will be fine if you didn't take a large dose of it but consult with your OB about it.

  • She is fine I am sure, I mean I am no doctor, but a small does one time shouldn't hurt.

  • It was only one pill and it took me a while to get up the nerve to take it. I don't have a car and had no Tylenol so I took what we had. She did stop moving for the rest of the night which scared me but the next day I couldn't get her to stop!
