  • teach to swim as it could come in handy to either save their own lives or to possibly save someone else's live but to ride a 2 wheeler does nothing other than to teach them to ride a 2 wheeler.

  • They both need to be done.

    Go to it.

  • Yeah you could do both at the same time. I also think swimming is more important too though b/c of the safety reasons. Also I've seen many adults (including my mom) conquer their fear of the water in there older age b/c they never learned how to swim as a child. They spent so many years advoiding the water they missed out on so much fun when they were a kid!
Have you ever seen someone afraid of a 2 wheel bike? =)

  • both

  • I think I wouldn't mind teaching either. Although, when it came to teaching my youngest, the neighbor kid did a far superior job at teaching him to ride his bike than I did.

  • I started my daughter in swimming when she was 8 months old...the 2 wheeler will come much later :)

  • I would rather teach my Son how to swim (even though riding a 2-wheeler is good, too). It's very important to know how to swim!
