  • Me personally.

I have reached a stage of life in which neither are that important to me any longer.

Material things have never been something that I have ever really cared about. I learned during my time in the Peace Corps, and living in other places in the world, that material things really mean nothing to me.

Time no longer matters to me in the sense of: I know longer worry about time. I know longer feel that I must live by a clock (this must be done by this time.. must go here by this time.. this has to happen at this time.... that sort of thing). I appreciate the time I have more now instead of worrying about my time and what needs to be done during my time.

  • Time is more important to me. Once we have enough money to get by, I don't need the fancy stuff, much rather the time..

  • My husband is good at getting me gifts but I'd rather he put the effort into spending time with me.
