Wearing nothing but diapers in public?

Would you take your child to the grocery store in nothing but their diapers?  An answer on another question made me think about this.  Personally no I haven't nor would I.  But when I see it, I think "awww look at their little diaper booties running around", lol.

  • Not in public. How hard is it to put a shirt and a pair of pants or shorts on a kid?

  • I don't see a problem with it. There have been times when we've forgotten to pack an extra outfit and there was some spit up or spilled juice or just baby icky-ness from being out all day, and there have been times we'd strip DD down into nothing but a diaper and just keep chugging on. Gotta do what ya gotta do =)

  • I live in Texas and it gets to be 105 in August, but I never have nor would I take my daughter out in public without being dressed.

  • It's not appropriate. Depending on how young the child is a t-shirt on would work with the diaper. At our town pool babies are not allowed to wear a swimmy diaper alone. They have to put a bathing suit over the swimmy diaper. The same should go for other public spaces.

  • I wouldn't, but it wouldn't bother me if another baby was.
