  • Chinese take out.

Her cooking seriously sucks. To cook any type of meat - put in a pan, add garlic powder and stick it under the broiler until you remember it's there.

Her version of having us over is going out to dinner.

  • My momma makes some killer meatloaf! It was always our "special" dinner on days like Easter, or birthdays.

  • Almost anything. I can't even attempt to narrow it down to one thing.

  • My mom is an excellent cook and I love too many of her dishes to just name one. She doesn't cook by recipes, just a little of this and a little of that, which frustrates my SIL's because they are always trying to duplicate (I watched my mom cook as I was growing up and can get fairly close). Sweet potato casserole, bbq chicken, meatloaf, creamed corn, 5 flavor pound cake, etc.

  • My mother doesn't so much love cooking. But I sure do - lol - so I cook when we get together. BUT my mother makes the best cookies I've ever eaten - EVER.
