WHY doesnt the government address CYA medicine AND NON compliance by patients AND Rx drug addiction

  • Because all those lawyers make them so much money. We did it in TX and it is proven to have brought more dr.s here.

  • The govt. is involved more than you may think. It seems something new comes up everyday that the govt. says that Dr.'s and pharmacists have to do to ensure patient confidentiality. Customers at our pharmacy get so mad when they have to show ID just to get a list of meds they take for the year for tax purposes, they also have to fill out a form. It's called Hippa. You cannot request any information on a family member without their consent.

  • but there is nothing holding patients (or the general public) accountable for their own actions

    the HIPPA stuff has been a Law in NYS for over 15 years long before the feds took the idea and it does NOT solve the problem it makes it worse
