  • Depends on the baby, every baby is different. Some sleep for 8 hours and some will wake up every 3 hours.

  • My son is 4 months and the longest stretch of sleep so far is 6 hrs. He wakes up for 1 feeding a night.

  • He is not missing a feeding if he is sleeping long stretches and eating well at all feedings. They will sleep longer and longer until they get up to 10-12 hours a night.

He's not getting less food, he's just taking in more when he eats instead of taking in less at more feedings. When mine started sleeping through the night, they nursed for a long time in the mornings to make up for not nursing all night.
