Swim lessons

My daughter is two and a half do you think that's old enough for swim lessons I'm the summer?

  • absolutely...obviously most kids this age don't actually start swimming on their own but if they are around a pool it is important to get them comfortable and aware of pool safety. i started momm & me swim with my son at 18 months and then at 3 he started class on his own. i'm hoping this summer he actually learns to swim on his own.

  • Yes! My 28 month old learned last summer to float and move his arms and legs - this summer I'm hoping we can get to actual swimming. My older 3 all learned when they were 3. I was on a competitive swim team growing up so I just taught them, but then got them lessons when they got a little older to learn proper stroke technique, diving, etc.

  • yep...my daughter is almost 3 and started at 18mos....she even went off the diving board.
