  • that sounds pretty good for a two year old. she doesn't have to be speaking in complete sentences yet so don't worry about it.

  • That's so true.  They will all develop at their own pace.  That sounds good to me though!  My son wouldn't speak even half of that until last year and he's 5 now.  He talked all the time but there were only certain things I could understand.  Then all of a sudden, I swear it was overnight, he was speaking in complete sentences and making perfect sense.  :)

  • There isn't a such thing as "Enough words" for a two year old. Every child is different. Some don't speak at all, by choice or otherwise, and others speak better then some older children. It all depends on your child's willingness to speak and what they choose to say. Not whether they're saying enough for their age, because there isn't a minimum or maximum for any age.

  • I think she is actually doing well, I was like you and scared my daughter was not saying enough at 2 but she turned out fine, so do not worry!

  • thank you she use to not speak alot is why i ask i was hoping she was on a good track now shes very independent and likes to do things at her pace on her own.....always has since a baby doctors judged her as a developmental delay but i didnt because she eventually did them just not like other babies .......all babies aint the same.
