Is there a group (like the boy scouts) for younger childern?

Pre-school age kids? 2 or 3 years and up?

  • There is cub scouts, but I don't recall the age requirement. I guess you could google it.

  • Yes....I did. Cub Scouts starts at 7 years old.

  • Cub Scouts starts in 1st grade. But there really isn't anything for the preschool age since they aren't ready skill wise for anything like Cub/Boy Scouts.

  • 2 -3 yr olds wouldn't be able to distinguish between cub scouts (or similar group) and just another play date/preschool. They socialize the same so just put them in some preschool, daycare , sunday school or mother's day out. It will be the same to the child of that age.

  • check with the different schools in your area like the elementry. The teachers there might have a few ideas. I can't remember what age u can join them with headstart.
