  • I only tell my kids to pick up their toys once.  But I am going to give you a bump because I can see how frustrating that would freaking be!  :)

  • I don't tell my children more than once. If it isn't done the first time, whatever is left goes into a bin. They have to earn one thing back at a time with extra chores.

  • my mother used to tell me if I didn't pick up my toys she'd put them in the basement.

    So I left out the dolls in the ugly dresses that some relative sent me that I was told to keep to be nice.

    dang it! she never followed through with the threat.

    before anyone says anything, I was very nice and said a very nice thank you for the doll. I never told the sender that I didn't care for them.
