Should an eye exam be required before buying a gun ?

  • Hmm never thought of that. Its not a bad idea, that's for sure. Especially if its used for hunting, a person that couldn't see well might shoot another person by accident. What I think they should do when you buy one is a full-blown mental evaluation.

  • Never thought about that, but probably so. I mean.. It does require decent eye sight to shoot accurately ..

  • Aren't people required to take classes, and be certified? How it is in Ohio anyway. So no, they shouldn't.
