Why do we still have a trade embargo against Cuba?

  • It is of course ludicrous , a cold-war leftover and a mouldy one at that. Hate Cuba, love and cuddle up to China - doen't make any sense except to exiled Cuban extremists in Florida . Other countries ignore the US embargo with the contempt iit deserves. But then they are all controlled by ' communists ".......... Right Carpy ?

  • Because they have been burned before by Castro, owes lots of money to the US and he is not going to change his stripes any time soon. The embargo should stay put until the monster is gone!
