Why did a friend of mine from RL who referred me here warn me through e-mail about an investigation group here?

I was informed by a real life friend to watch myself because I was questioning a member in a group here. My friend is the one who referred me to this site. She said the group the girl I questioned belongs to will investigate me and do everything in their power to get me booted from CM? I have done nothing wrong. I have questioned her in a post which would be considered a debate topic. Am I not allowed to question people in their posts?

  • There is an investigation group on here, but, as far as I know, they are not a Cafemom sponsored group. They probably don't have much if any real power other than to report people to the Cafemom team who make the ultimate decision.

  • Because there are some crazy, catty women here with nothing else better to do with their time. Don't sweat it. Enjoy the site for the reason you came here.

  • Some people take the online world a little too seriously and just cant handle critisim/debate in an open forum (which defeats the purpose of an open forum) Lol if you have done nothing wrong there is nothing to worry about. Enjoy the site.

  • As long as your questions stay within the CM guidelines you should be ok. If someone chooses not to answer a question I would think they'd simply tell you that they don't feel comfortable answering your question. If the question was asked multiple times and could be construed as harassing then maybe then they'd report you but other than those two things I can't think why CM would investigate. CM only gets involved if guidelines are broken.

  • Some of the women on here believe they own the site, and anyone who dares question them are evil. LOL. It's ignorant, but they think the world revolves around them. Sorry you had a problem.

  • Thank you Christine. I am not going to sweat it. I was just curious what it was all about. The part about crazy, catty women is dead on.

  • Apparently I have done nothing wrong. I chose to question someone who does not enjoy being questioned.

  • admckenzie this is referencing activity in a group. Apparently a group on CM investigates new profiles or anyone who has differing opinions than their own. CM, to my knowledge, is not investigating me. I have not broken TOS.
