  • It can only cause you to go into labor if your body is ready. There are a variety of postions you can do: Cowgirl (Normal and reverse), Doggy style, and any postions you feel comfortable doing. Its all up to how you feel.

  • well it's his semen and having an orgasm that really helps you go into labor.

  • what they said... =)

you can (and should!) enjoy sex during your whole pregnancy unless your dr tells you otherwise. you won't go into premature labor just because of having sex. it can cause some spotting, but that's normal and should be light.

if you are near term though and baby is gettin' ready to pop out, it can help speed things up. semen helps to soften your cervix. and the contractions of your uterus during orgasm can help stimulate those muscles and get them ready for the big push! =)

  • as for positions, not man on top! =) try to avoid lying on your back for too long and, of course, don't smoosh your baby! lying on your side, either facing eachother or spooning works well. doggy, woman on top. you sitting on the edge of the bed/a chair/couch while he's standing or kneeling in front of you... i'm not sure what the technical name of this is. =)

here's a link (don't ask why i have this...) be warned though, it is a sexual positions page so it's got descriptions and pics.... don't click into it unless you wanna see it! =)

(i hope i don't get in trouble for this) =)

  • As for best positions there are none, but the easiest for me was doggy style (with my head leaning down.)
