How long does honey stay good?

  • Stays good forever. If it gets crystalized you just need to warm it up and it will turn back to a liquid. Just be careful because you can't microwave it in those little plastic bear-shaped bottles because they will melt. You could put the plastic bottle in warm water though like you do to warn syrup. Or scoop it out into something glass and microwave.

  • They say (not sure who they are ) but THEY say honey never goes bad.

    That they have found honey in Egyptian tombs still edible :)

  • For a very long time. Honey is naturally resistant to bacteria.

  • Filtered honey will sort of start to form sugar crystals after a certain amount of significant time, but is still entirely safe, edible, and tasty!
