  • Complete medical history, swabbing and blood testing, prenatal vitamins, a lot of brochures and an appt for your first ultrasound for dating purposes if your OB does that. Some don't.

  • The best details I can give you are in the book What to Expect When You're Expecting. It breaks everything down by month and has TONS of great information.

  • Sorry I'm not more informative, my kids are 7 and 4.

  • If this is your very first appointment, you will most like just see the nurse. She'll ask you for an urine sample, you'll discuss your full family medical history, talk about your appointment schedules and answer any questions you may have. You'll leave with an order for blood work, a lot of information and schedule your next appointment to see the doctor.
